Deborah G Mishek, MD, FAAP, Medical Director, has been practicing pediatrics for over 20 years. She has focused exclusively on issues of learning behavior and attention for more than 12 years. Dr. Mishek did her undergraduate work at Pomona College and attended medical school at the University of California San Diego.
Over the years, Dr. Mishek has frequently lectured to health care providers, teachers, nurses and parents on issues of learning, attention, behavior, and development. She has been a consultant to schools in San Diego and to residential treatment programs in other states. Collaborating as a team and advocating for her patients is a strength. One of Dr. Mishek's goals is to try to coordinate all the services that are available here in San Diego so that both providers and families have access to as much assistance as possible.
